The theme of the Forum opening on World Science Day is “investing in knowledge – investing in the future”. The emblem of the World Science Forum is in the centre of the stamp design. The graphics of the first day cover show a view of Budapest, whose main motifs are the Chain Bridge and the Buda Castle. The special postmark shows a stylised drawing of the headquarters of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.
