The three stamps of the series show three great works of contemporary Hungarian art: László Fehér’s painting Child with Model Aircraft, 2004, István Harasztÿ’s sculpture Circle Dance, 2005 and Zsuzsa Péreli’s tapestry picture Aequilibrium, 2000-2001. The series was produced using the artistic photographs of Márió Pintér (HUF 120 and HUF 160 stamps) and Imre Juhász (HUF 140 stamp).

The first day cover belonging to the stamp series is decorated by a composition formed by picture frames. The special cancellation stamp contains a graphic design with a painting-related motif.
