The HUF 52 blue stamp shows a chair from 1908, the HUF 75 orange denomination a chair with a back incorporating a heart (1893) and the HUF 212 green stamp a pair of theatre seats from the Academy of Music (c. 1900). The pieces on the stamps are from the collec-tions of the Museum of Ethnography and the Museum of Applied Arts.

The HUF 52 and 212 denominations are versions of the HUF 33 and 134 denominations from the History of Furniture – Antique Furniture VI series with a changed face value. Simultaneously with the change of face value, the stamps’ colour has been altered, and the date of issue and the printer’s name have been updated. The stamps’ graphic design and inscriptions are unchanged. The HUF 33 and 134 denominations will not be reprinted but remaining stocks will be sold in the postal network.
