The picture side of the postcard contains a part of a picture on the Hungarian Conquest taken from the Képes Krónika (Picture Chronicle, National Széchényi Library) published on the occasion of the 1100th anniversary of the death of the Hungarian leader Árpád. The stamp image of the postcard shows the emblem of the Hungarian Archery Association, the design of the special cancellation stamp includes a stylised drawing of hair plait ring from the age of the Conquest.
