20th anniversary of the Republic of Azerbaijan regaining its independence

The numbered commemorative sheets include a perforated design and
have been issued in a limited edition. The issue is available in a mount
for collectors of philatelic rarities.
The perforated design
of the commemorative sheet employs a graphic composition consisting of
the arms of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the number twenty in
reference to the anniversary, while the border uses a combination of the
flag of the Republic of Azerbaijan and a motif from an Azeri carpet.
The commemorative sheet in a Hawid mount is only available as part of
the commemorative card. The flag and the carpet motif also feature as
the background printing of the inner and outer sides of the
commemorative card. The front of the card bears the combination of the
arms of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the number twenty as well as the
inscription “20th anniversary of the Republic of Azerbaijan regaining
its independence” in Hungarian and Azeri. On the inner left page of the
card information is given in Hungarian and Azeri.
The
commemorative sheet and its accompanying card were designed by Barnabás
Baticz and 2,000 copies were made in the state printing company Állami
Nyomda and the print works Con-X Nyomda. The perforated size of the
design within the commemorative sheet is 31.5 x 40 mm and the external
imperforated size of the sheet is 90 x 70 mm.
