The special feature of the issue is that the stamps can be bought as part of a six-part board game. The six playing sheets make up a fun game for children to playfully learn about stamp collecting as the name itself, PHILAVILLAGE, implies. Part 1 was issued on 6 June and part 2 on 20 June. The three last parts will be released in the autumn.

The stamps show the busy lives of the inhabitants of PHILAVILLAGE. On the fifth and sixth denominations children can get to know the PHILAVILLAGE police and cake shop. The first day cover for the series shows the friendly villagers, while the main motif of the postmark is a stylized bear’s head.
