As a first in Europe the Federation was established on 25 March 1907 with the participation of the associations of 8 Hungarian universities and colleges and with the written support of a further two. The centre of the stamp celebrating the centenary shows the jubilee logo with the number 100 above it, around it – in clockwise order – there is a graphic composition symbolising hammer throwing, the high jump, water polo, the horse in gymnastics, the javelin and tennis. The special envelope is decorated with drawings of sports people and the front and rear of the centenary medal. The special cancellation stamp includes a stylised drawing of a runner with the number 100, in this way referring to the anniversary.
